EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH THE MANAGING DIRECTOR OF  THE AFRICA GAS ASSOCIATION (TAGA)

NEUMAG: Hello Mrs Anne Etoke, we are honored to have the opportunity to interview you here on Naija EU Magazine, Please tell our Esteemed Readers about yourself.

ANNE: I am humbled. I want to thank Naija EU Magazine for this great opportunity, My name is Anne Etoke, I am the Co Founder of the Africa Gas Association and currently Managing Director. I am also a Former Co Executive Producer of the most successful 2012 Cameroon Entertainment Awards. I am a proud African. I love to see Africa Rise and take  it's place in the world. Africa has all the potentials to become a Great continent, numerous natural resources, numerous market and countless manpower. it is time for us to build our Continent.

NEUMAG: You are the co-founder of African Gas Association, and the Managing Director, tell us what are the aims and objective of this Foundation.

ANNE: The Africa Gas Association (TAGA), aim to be the Leading Voice for the Natural Gas and Energy Industry in Africa. It seeks to become one of the most influential and respectful organization in the global natural gas and energy industry. TAGA, influence and support policies which promote strong, viable and sustainable natural gas/energy industry in Africa and beyond in an efficient and environmentally. friendly manner. It focuses on the Environment, Access to Resources, Communication, Operations, Best Practices, Regulations and Advocacy, CSR and Events.

NEUMAG: Looking into your past activities, you have attended seminars, conferences, Meetings, Forums, sharing the same stage with Government Officials, Actors and Actresses, MD's, CEOs etc. tell us is your move politically motivated?

ANNE: One of TAGA's objective is to promote and create awareness about the Africa Gas/Energy Industry through seminars, conferences and work collaboratively with other energy organization and local community organizations. Also as a former Executive Producer of an Awards, I get invited to most of the Entertainment events in Africa, Europe and USA

NEUMAG: How was the experience of taking part in organizing a very prestigious award like The Cameroon Awards. 

ANNE: It was very stressful. I still remember the sleepless nights, the tears, the numerous phone calls trying to sell the idea to sponsors. One thing is clear, I am a very proud Cameroonian and I did it for the Love i have for my beloved Country Cameroon and Africa..

NEUMAG: Apart from Social Activities, tell us about other activities you engage in 

ANNE: .The smooth functioning of an organization like TAGA requires great leadership skills. as the MD of TAGA, I spend most of my time working on the objectives and building the membership to ensure smooth operation of TAGA.

NEUMAG: Tell us how you spends your free hours 

ANNE: Most of my free hours are spend with my creator. I like to pray and meditate. I also spend some free hours with my two handsome kids teaching them Africa culture and tradition

NEUMAG: We know you have Thousands of Fans around the World, and many of them will be reading this, Tell us what will be your Advice to those who are aspiring to be like you. 

ANNE: My Dear friends, DETERMINATION, PATIENCE, POSITIVE ATITUDE and TOLERANCE. Always Dream, Believe and Execute Do not let anyone tell you you cannot do it. Remember it's okay to fail and learn from your mistakes.

NEUMAG: Apart from being the Managing Director of TAGA. do you occupy any other Social or Political Positions? 

ANNE: I do not occupy any political position but i am involved in some social organizations like The Women's Energy Network, CFI, NNA, and many more.
