''Being in Showbiz makes me fullfil that Dream''
NEUMAG: Hello Nwanne Campo, we feel privileged to have this exclusive interview with you on Naija EU Magazine.
NWANNE CAMPO: Thanks very mush sire, I am truely honoured to be intereviewed by this prestigious Magazine.
NEUMAG: Please introduce yourself to those who do not know you.
NWANNE CAMPO: I am Mrs. Nwanneka Campo, but I am Popularly known as Nwanne Campo. I am Married and have 2 daughters. We live in Northern Spain. Santander to be precise.
NEUMAG: How did you get into Acting?
NWANNE CAMPO: I have always loved acting as a child, I was the stage Manager of our draamatic society at Queen's School, Enugu while Zulu Adigwe (Mr. B) was our Artistic Director but that dream came true recently when I accompanied Max Ese Anderson for an auditioning and was surprised to be picked by the Director, Michael Martins to read some script and from there I was given a role and from there loads of offers started coming in.s.
NEUMAG: You are into Party and Event Organizing, what challenges do you face in this part of your profession?
NWANNE CAMPO: The biggest challenges I face just like any other promoter/event organizer is the lack of fund and sponsors to organize events at this moment due to the economic crises Spain is going through right now.
NEUMAG: You are also a Make-up Artist, which product do you often use.
NWANNE CAMPO: I love everything that has to do with beauty and fashion, to maintain what God gave to me I use more than a product daily. I use Garnier Facial Scrub, Olay X7 facial Products, Lancome Foundation and sleek Original Eyeshadow.
NEUMAG: You are also a personal shopper, which means you are into fashion as well
NWANNE CAMPO: Yes, I am a personal shopper and a fashion consultant. As I love fashion so much, I opened a boutique where I sell everything ranging from clothes, jewelleries and accessories,. I decided to be a personal shopper for those clients that has money but no time to go shopping or simply people that need my advise on what to wear or buy.
NEUMAG: Your life is all about entertainment, is that why you are known as Nigerias first Lady of entertainment in Europe?
NWANNE CAMPO: So they say hahahahah, I love life and understand that we have only one life to live so I love making everybody around me happy. Being in showbiz makes me fulfill that dream. I am really blessed to be loved and respected by most people that I come across and hence that title you mentioned. I am grateful to all my fans and loved ones for their love and constant support.
NEUMAG: How do you enjoy your free time
NWANNE CAMPO: I love travelling, shopping and reading.
NEUMAG: Which area of your profession do you enjoy most.
NWANNE CAMPO: This is a difficult question, it's like asking a mother which of her children she loves most.
NEUMAG: Tell us about your Marriage, and advise to other women aspiring to be like you.
NWANNE CAMPO: Hmmmmm my marriage is the greatest of God's Blessings to me. I got married 20 years ago but it seems like yesterday, I will still marry my hubby Chief Engr. Ignacio Campo (Okwesilieze) in my next life if there is any. A good marriage must be based on a good foundation like LOVE, MUTUAL RESPECT, TRUST, UNDERSTANDING, TOLERANCE, PATIENCE AND GOOD FLOW OF COMMUNICATION. My advise to other women is to look before they leap, most ladies base their love on the pocket of the guy and when for any reason there is no more steady income, then troouble sets in. For a marriage to work both parties has to study themselves and reach a lot of compromises and that is achieved through good communication. If the marriage is based on love believe me you can overcome any obstacle that life throws your way.
NEUMAG: Apart from entertainments, what elese do you do.
NWANNE CAMPO: I am also a model, fashion Designer, a beauty and fashion consultant, I am also the P.R.O. of WAZOBIA, the prestigious African Restaurant situated in Mostoles, Madrid, Spain and of PRADO Wine.
NEUMAG: Which advise will you like to give to Talented Nigerians in Diaspora.
NWANNE CAMPO: I advise every Artist that feels he is talented to chase his dreams, work hard on improving daily and knock on doors, one will surely open someday and he/she will make it. They should know that with constant hard work, Nigerian Superstars, like Spicevision, Tommix, Manfesto, Mclevit, T-Why, Illuminator and a long etc got where they are today.

NWANNE CAMPO: It has been a great pleasure being interviewed by you. It's an honour to be featured in NEU Magazine. I am very grateful. I am proud of how you are inspiring all Nigerians in Diaspora, we have to portray our assets for the world to see because most people see Nigerians as crooks, scammers, prostitutes, drug pushers, kidnappers and ritualists. We all should try to change that bad image for our great nation.
I wouldn't like to end this interview without giving all Glory to God for all he has done for me and I pray he will take me to a higher beight and use me to the benefit of humanhood. I would like to give special thanks from the bottom of my beart, first to my Soulmate (My Hubby) for it is only a great man like him that can stand firmly behind a woman like me, I thank my children, Julia, Chelo.
